Discover what’s possible at What’s Out There (WOT) Day – 25 March at Royal Talbot
Join us for What’s Out There (WOT) Day – a free community event hosted by AQA Victoria in partnership with Austin Health, for people living with a physical disability, their families, and support networks.
Held at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre on Wednesday 25 March from 11am to 4pm, WOT Day is your opportunity to connect with others, explore assistive technology, and discover what’s possible in life with physical disability.
When: Wednesday 25 March 2025
Time: 11am – 4pm
Where: Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre
Cost: Free
Working with Austin Health, AQA has pulled together a panel of people with many years of lived experience. They’ll share their experiences on a wide variety of topics, including hobbies, work, travel, families, home modifications, and transport, and they’ll answer your questions.
After a BBQ lunch, the final part of the day involves an exhibition of a huge range of services and types of assistive technology and equipment that you can play around with and learn about. The Panellists and other mentors will be available throughout the day to answer any questions, and to discuss themes that came up during the panel discussion, and anything else the group wants to talk about.
