Assistive Technology for Kids (Linds & Sunrise)

Linds, 85 Argyle St, Traralgon, VIC

Thursday, August 13 2026, 9:30am – 1pm

Discover practical paediatric assistive technology solutions that support participation, comfort and clinical outcomes.

Following requests from therapists and allied health professionals across the Gippsland region, Linds Traralgon is pleased to host this practical professional development session with Radley Woodhouse from Sunrise Medical.

This interactive workshop explores how assistive technology can support children to participate in the activities they love while helping clinicians achieve meaningful therapeutic goals. We’ll showcase a range of paediatric equipment, introduce exciting new product innovations, and discuss practical clinical considerations that can be applied in everyday practice.

What we’ll cover

  • Supporting children to participate in everyday activities through appropriate assistive technology.
  • Using a broad range of paediatric equipment to achieve clinical goals while ensuring children can play, learn and have fun.
  • An overview of the Sunrise Medical paediatric product range, including the latest product releases.
  • Exploring the new Leckey BeMe seating range and its simple four-step prescription process.
  • Understanding the importance of lying positioning and why it is often the “hidden therapy” that can make a significant difference to a child’s comfort, development and wellbeing.

This session is ideal for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation professionals, allied health assistants and other clinicians working with children who require postural support and mobility solutions.
